An Even Better Bargain for Mobile Gamers
The website TouchArcade reports that $4.99 price point for Sonic CD on the iOS will indeed be the price there, but much later down the line. Accoring to the website, when the game hits the app store tomorrow, it will sell for an introductory price of $1.99.
We haven’t seen that price point anywhere but the above linked story, but Sega certainly is not beyond deals like that. There’s no word on whether a similar deal, should this hold, will be available at launch for Android and Windows Phone users. It’s also not clear how long that $1.99 price point will last, if it happens at all.
