UPDATE: Sonic CD Mobile Release Dates Adjusted

Now Android Users Get it Tomorrow, iOS Users the Next Day

We wanted to pass along a couple updates concerning the release dates and potential prices for the mobile editions of Sonic CD.

First, a couple adjustments from this morning’s press release have been posted to the Sega blog, and they indicate Android mobile users will get the game tomorrow. Previously, there was no timetable given for the Android port.

Unfortunately, there’s some bad news; the Sega blog also alleges the iOS port, previously announced in the original presser for release tomorrow, will be bumped back a day, to Thursday. Though this was apparently a late adjustment, no reason was given for the changes.

Second, something to numb that delay for Apple lovers; a second source is now reporting the $1.99 introductory price for Sonic CD. For their part, the Sega blog cited above is sticking to the $4.99 or regional equivalent price point. Then again, Sega didn’t want to give us official release dates until the day before, so anything is possible.

We’ll continue to bring you more when it’s available.

@Tenchi Next week it was only released today for PSN Europe. US gets it if i believe on the 20th

I guess the PSN for the US release was to co-op with the Sonic Adventure discount? Well I guess it’s helpful since I can buy both at the same time.

(Sonic Adventure discount is for PS Plus users obviously)

Can anyone tell me if Sonic Generations will get on the Canadian PS Store and what the price is? I’m pretty sure the game is up on the UK PS Store for £32…
It would help a lot cuz then I could get SG and Sonic CD together…
