Upward Trend Again on All 3 Consoles
Yesterday, we brought you the domestic estimates, and today, VGChartz published European estimates for Sonic Generations last week.
The website, which is independent and offers unofficial numbers, estimates XBOX 360 edition sales jumped a fair bit week-to-week, just as it did in North America. The website estimates 31,478 copies of the game sold last week on the 360 across Europe.
The Playstation 3 edition took the crown last week, however. VGChartz estimates 41,952 copies of Generations sold on the system. That’s almost as well as the North American number for the second straight week, and a more than 35 percent jump week to week.
Though it is currently the weakest seller in Europe, even the 3DS version is showing signs of life according to the unofficial website data. VGChartz estimates 19,819 copies of the game sold last week, its third week of sale in Europe, a more than 21 percent increase week to week.
At this rate, if the official numbers are even close to these figures in both regions, Sonic Generations should easily be a million seller by the end of the year.

Wow. I didn’t think it would sell this well.
Its getting better since all those nerds already bought the call of poopy, The elder toilet paper V and battlecrap 3
Legend of zelda skyward sword and uncharted 3 I accept because they’re actually good games not about bloody wars they’re about Nice interactiva adventures
@Blade
…Why u no like Skyrim…?
@Blade the hedgehog
Despite the bugs, lags, and texture issues, Skyrim’s still an amazing game.
rock on baby rock on…lets pray that this year ends on a good note being there is 15 days now left of 2011.
Does anyone know how much the game has sold in total? I’ve only seen how much it has sold in a week, but not how many copies overall.
Hey, maybe SEGA should celebrate by releasing the Generations CE to America!
