Now in Top 20 Overall
Brisk Holiday sales continue for all versions of Sonic Generations in the UK. The latest official Chart Track ranks are out from last week, and they show all combined units of the game now place 19th overall, the best showing for Generations since launch week in early November.
Individually, all three versions were up from the previous week. On the 3DS, Generations charted 6th among other software on the system, up from 8th. Among PS3 software, the game charted 11th, up from 12th. And on XBOX 360, Generations ranked 14th among other software, up from 17th.
By the way, Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games cracked the top 10, up to 8th from 11th.
There will probably be one more week of strong sales before the Holiday sales rush ends. We’ll have unofficial estimates for all of Europe once they are made available. However, it increasingly appears that last week will be the week where Sonic Generations crossed a million sold. If that’s the case, it is ahead of the pace Sonic Colors set last year–and remember, that ended up shipping close to 2 million by the end of Q3 2011. It is very possible we could see Generations hit the 2 million mark by the end of January if Holiday sales keep up.

Wait, Generations already hit a million? This calls for a celebration! I’ll get the champagne.
Sonic is back and better than never ^^
Sega + Sonic Team + Both classic and modern forms of Sonic + Generations having sold a million copies = “Outstanding!”
Fix’d for ya, QuietGuy

Thanks.
Sonuc CD(360) is tied with Modern Warfare 3 and Rayman Orgins with a 88 on Metacritic. Ios is 95, which is also the top rated ios game.
All these numbers are not counting STEAM sales, right? So it’ll have crossed a million retail sales, but digital sales should also be decently high, at least 200,000 on STEAM? (Probably more before the end of the year.)
