90 Tracks of Nostalgia
Via the website VGMDb.net, we now know what to expect from the Sonic Generations OST when it goes up for sale next month.
The three disc set will include tunes from both the console and 3DS editions. Among the highlights are the Super Sonic Racing remixed composed by Jun Senoue and Cash Cash. Cash Cash’s Big Arms boss battle theme also makes the cut. The fast mixes from Green Hill and Sky Sanctuary Act 2 are also in. If you enjoyed the interludes in the hub world, it appears they will also be mixed together in the OST under White Space Medley.

So Metal Sonic’s SG rival battle music differs between regions, just like the original Sonic CD’s did?

No, the US version of Stardust Speedway Bad Future was remixed as an unlockable song. It’s the only unlockable song that is a remix, hence it’s inclusion. The default world wide is the Japanese Bad Future remix.

Well… there was Virtual Sonic (under the Sega Tunes label) and Sonic Boom (which was a pre-order bonus for Sonic 3). Besides that I really can’t think of any other domestic soundtrack releases.

I can’t agree more.
@SP: Not including the iTunes collection of Crush 40 and the best of Sonic soundtracks, there was the Sonic Boom CD someone here mentioned, and Sonic Heroes also had a domestic release, but it was more of a compilation album that had all the stage tracks, vocals, and one cutscene song.

Don’t forget – TokyoPop (yes, TokyoPop) released a version of the Sonic Adventure 2 soundtrack (woefully incomplete) and Geneom released a version of the Sonic Heroes soundtrack.

Is Circuit Freq an artist, cause if so…they should stay away from making remixes of great songs. How dare they ruin Vengeance is Mine!
Lack of “You’re My Hero” remix makes me very angry, rofl
