Coming to the eShop Next Week
Nintendo today revealed via a press release they will begin a demo program via the Nintendo 3DS’s eShop.
As part of the program, according to the release, a demo version of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games will be available free of charge next Wednesday, January 26th. No indication was given as to what the demo will contain, be it a neutered peek at story mode, or simply a small collection of Olympic mini-games.
Capcom, Konami, and Ubisoft are participating in the demo program along with Sega. Interestingly enough, no upcoming Nintendo first party demos were announced. This one is only confirmed for the regions Nintendo of America covers. NoE and NoJ have said nothing about this particular demo.
If this turns out good, I might get it for my 3DS. But I kinda want to save up for Paper Mario and Sonic 4 Ep II. Yeah, I spent all my money on Generations, Skyward Sword, a 3DS and OOT 3D. Money well spent…
@Cheddly – You’re going to get Paper Mario 3DS? I think PM3DS is trying to mimmick the Mario&Luigi Series. I’m going to pass on Paper Mario, I’m going to wait for the next Mario and Luigi.
@MetalMatrix88 i’m just glad Paper Mario has gone back to RPG instead of Platforming. I’m still hoping for another Mario and Luigi though.
