Name of Sega’s New UK Studio
We now have some concrete information on the Hardlight name that was connected to Sega earlier in the week, and the mystery can be laid to rest. Hardlight, as it turns out, is the name of Sega’s newest development studio. This studio is based in the UK and, unfortunately, details about it are sparse. All that is known so far is that they are in the midst of creating a “unique action adventure” game for Sony’s PS Vita, and that project has a vague release date of late 2012. Additionally, Hardlight is believed to be made up of staff members from the now-defunct Sega Racing Studio.
We expect more information about Hardlight and their new game to be released in the coming months, and we’ll pass anything new along.
