Awkward Results for an Awkward PR Stunt

With the debate over SOPA and PIPA now as dead as the bills themselves, we suppose all can look back at this and have a little laugh.

For the latest @Issue poll, we asked if this Hard Reset video, produced by Sega’s community team in response to an off-putting automated response received by a fan when it asked the company its stance on the controversial anti-piracy bills in Congress, was funny, inappropriate, or both.

About 670 people participated in the poll, and among the choices, the most votes went to the Both Funny and Inappropriate option, at 48 percent.  Another 41 percent simply found it funny, while another 11 percent found it outright inappropriate.  Weighing it all together, far more found something funny about the video than those who didn’t.

A new poll is now available to vote on.  You can discuss the latest results below in the comments.
