“Eggman is taken by surprise when Snively tries to usurp his power”. SERIOUSLY?? How many times has Snively betrayed Eggman in the past and try to take over the Eggman Empire for himself? I can think of six different occasions off of the top of my head including this one. This should not come as a surprise to Eggman one bit!
yuk yuk
Silly Snively… World Domination is only for fat egg-shaped men. Come back after you gain 200 lbs.
@TailsFan:
I think what is surprising to him this time is that he wasn’t expecting it to be so competent. In the past Snively has shown a fair lack of ingenuity or backbone in his takeovers. This time (SPOILER ALERT) not only did Snively manage to go behind all of Eggman’s security measures (such as everything watching him), but he managed to lock Eggman out of his own system temporarily, throw the Eggman Empire into temporary anarchy, and manufacture a whole army of infiltrators under Eggman’s nose to serve as decoys. Also, he’s not going for the blatant takeover angle this time, he’s split and run in another direction and Eggman has no honest idea what he is up to. All in all its a bit more intriguing then Snively’s normal schemes.
*hopes a Mighty arc is after this*
