Announcement Video Inside
Originally slated for a Windows PC release, Sega and Sonic Team’s Phantasy Star Online 2 added another console to its roster today: The Playstation Vita.
The announcement came in a lengthy Japanese trailer, which we’ve relayed below. PSO2’s Vita edition will utilize the same data as the PC edition. In a nutshell, that means the same characters can be developed on both systems, and Vita players will duke it out with PC players on the same servers.
For the moment, PSO2 is planned for Japan only. The Vita version in particular will be released next year, while Windows players in Japan should still get it later this year. Take a look at the trailer in the video box below.
