Time to “Remember the Fallen”
There is an eerie, almost macabre appropriateness to this week’s Archie Sonic preview, given the events of last week.
Issue #235 details the aftermath of Antoine’s fall in issue 234. On top of those matters, Silver shows up on the hunt for the traitor. Ian Flynn penned the script. Terry Austin is the principal on the cover, with numerous more handling the issue art.

Silver, you doofus. Why would Antoine be the traitor?
So far he’s accused Sonic, Rotor, and now Antoine’s the next victim, 10 bucks says Tails is next on the list. *sigh* Edmund’s comment about using Silver’s head spikes to dust the place made me lol though. XD
Bunnie, what are you going to do???……

Did anyone notice 3 Chaos Emeralds on Ixis Naugus’s staff in the final page of the preview?
“Antonie’s Journal. Private! Do not read! That means you, Sonic!”
Silver is a dumb-ass. I’m sorry, but he is.
@Amuro: He’s currently being written as a dumbass at least. Though it’s not because of what he’s found considering no one here is currently taking that into consideration, it’s how he reacts to what he’s found when he does his research.
@Amuro:
Well, he is supposed to be pretty young, headstrong and eager, which in the right combinations can be the set up for a bad result. Additionally, he’s frustrated by the difficulties (and his failures) in trying to complete a goal he’s dedicated his life to, which makes him prone to rush into something. Yeah, he’s acts like an idiot at times, but it’s true to his character, which I can appreciate even if I shake my head at his mistakes. After all, I remember being a teen, or even a late teen and making some pretty stupid headstrong decisions.
@Viking ZX / Mike: Yeah, I see your points. But still, I just can’t help but facepalm, you know? XD
@Amuro Silver’s not a dumbass. He’s just naive/stupid/dumbass… Ok, yeah, he’s a dumbass.
The comics are certainly getting more serious, but unlike Ken Blunders, Ian does seriousness quite well.
it’s like silver is doing a Thematic project.
oOOoh gosh. lol
Good grief it’s getting utterly annoying seeing Silver make continous blunders as an excuse for him to go into the past. If he doesn’t get it right this time or make some kind of game changing contribution to the comic he may as well be written off as useless.
Antoine wouldn’t betray his friends, he’s much to loyal for that, just like Sonic and Rotor (particularly Sonic) unless he was either being tricked, had been brainwashed, legionized or robotizied. (.< )
Is it possible the 'traitor' he's looking for is Sally, due to her current status as a robot?
She's the last one on the list (since in the issue with him accusing Rotor, he only listed the first four Freedom Fighters as Sonic, Sally, Antoine and 'Boomer'/Rotor) since apparently Bunnie, Tails, and Nicole don't count as the 'core' FFs.
Dumbass is too harsh of a word to use to describe Silver, which is why I went with 'Doofus' on my first comment. He's not stupid, but he's too quick to jump to conclusions.
