Will Likely Follow Suit in Domestic Markets
Sega of Japan afforded a major update to Sonic 4: Episode II today, and confirmed price points equivalent to $15 in that market.
The XBOX 360 edition will cost 1200 MSP in Japan, while a copy on the PS Store will run ¥1500. While the latter is the equivalent of more than $18, it is now almost a certainty given the MSP price point that domestic markets will see similar pricing as what occurred with Episode I.
That said, neither Sega of America or Sega Europe have made it official, but with releases beginning less than six weeks from now, it’s only a matter of time. Are you willing to pay $15 for Episode II, especially given the newly announced Episode Metal content? Tell us in the comments.
