1080p, Other 16×9 Resolutions Now Supported
After a bit of an uproar from fans over the PC version of Sonic 4: Episode II‘s resolution being locked at maximum of 720p, a patch was released today via Steam that unlocks the game’s resolution and supports all 16×9 based resolutions, including 1080p.
That means you can play the game in 1600×900, or 1152×648, and get an ideal viewing experience. Other resolutions will be downscaled accordingly without worry of pixelation. Steam users with S4E2 should check for the update at their convenience.
