S4E2 Gets Its First Discount
Steam’s annual Summer sale is upon us, and nearly everyone is getting into the act, especially Sega. Their line of PC download products is on sale until July 22nd, and the entire Sonic line is included.
All available classic Sonic titles on the service, from Sonic 1 up to Sonic 3D Blast and even Christian Whitehead’s remastered Sonic CD, is available at a nearly 40 percent discount at $2.99. Sonic Adventure DX also gets a price cut from $8.99 to $5.39. Sonic 4: Episode I is cut to $5.99, while Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing can be bought for $8.99, and Sonic Generations is at a bargain $10.19 price.
But amid these discounts is one of note: The first price cut we’ve seen anywhere for Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II. During the sale, that can be bought on Steam for just $8.99–a 40 percent discount.
The entire Sega library is full of deep discounts, and you can check those out at this link. Thanks to all who tipped us with this information.

I might pick up ASR and Episode 2.
I might get ASR
All stars racing, will be getting that.
I have all the Sonic Games on Steam, and I even got Ep. 2 on day one pre-order on Steam. It’s cool that they are getting a discount.
“Sonic Generations is at a bargain $10.19 price. ”
HORY…!
Picked up ASR when it was $3 for a daily deal. Great game!
Something that needs to be mentioned, the Steam Summer Sale golden rule, wait for the daily deals.
It’s possible that the discounted games could get an even bigger discount during a daily deal, flash sale or community choice sale. When we reach the last day of the Summer Sale and the specific game didn’t got a daily deal, then that will be the right time to buy it, since it won’t get a bigger discount than what it already has.
meh. got generations for free 3 days ago thanks to a summer of sonic promo code
haha….sonic generations on sale for $10.19 ….where have I seen those numbers before?
