Press Only Previews…for Now

There is good news for Sega fans planning to attend Gamescom next month.  But for the moment, only a select few can take advantage of Sega’s decision to return to the show.

Svend Joscelyne, who most in this community know through his work building The Sonic Stadium, reported today on that Sega sent press-only invites to closed door demos at the show.  Only a few titles will be a part of the private showcase, but Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Aliens: Colonial Marines are expected to be included.

Interestingly, Sega did not comment on the change of heart when prompted.  But the good news is that we should at least hear more about Sega’s top-tier titles around the time of Gamescom next month.
