Speeding Your Way in January

Those of you that have kept up with Eddie Lebron’s long-awaited fan film Sonic may be pleased to hear that concrete release plans are now in place. An statement released by Blue Core Studios revealed that the film is set to have its world premiere during MAGFest, which will take place from January 3rd to January 6th of next year. Writer/director Lebron, as well as two of the film’s producers, will do a Q&A with the MAGFest attendees after the screening. The film will be released online for the general public just a few days later on January 9th.

Sonic has been in development for two years, and it will surely be satisfying for the film’s production team to have that work pay off in front of a convention crowd. Specific details about the date and time of the film’s MAGFest premiere are not yet known, but we will pass that information along once it becomes available.
