Our Readers Are Clutch
I have always said our readers and news tipsters are as important in the newsgathering process as myself and the rest of the TSSZ staff. Never had that philosophy proven itself so well until this evening, when reader Tyler, in attendance at the Archie Sonic panel in New York Comic Con that I botched, offered to share his stash of photos with us.
A selection of his work can be seen below. It includes a clear shot of what should be Sally Acorn’s updated look once she is de-roboticized in the Sonic comics, plus cover and other various artwork of upcoming and recent Sonic comics. You’ll notice there isn’t much about the Sonic x Mega Man crossover within, so it appears much of the talk that Archie staff stayed mostly mum on the matter appears accurate, but there was a timetable shown for the arc.

Next year is going to be off the chain!
“whats up croc?” I can’t stop laughing at that! Also I took a picture of the picture of Sally and showed my friends and they said she looks hot, I was like “Sorry guys, she’s taken!” Really can’t wait to see her de-roboticized again! Waiting patiently and anxiously to see her and Sonic reunited… it’s probably going to be one of the most heart warming moments in the comics!
Also, I SEE MIGHTY! Wonder where Ray is?

doubt its any type of GN or a new comic series so what the heck is it?

I like Sally’s new design. I think the Genesisy looking cover might be the second Digest. Also Friggin Chaotix everywhere! I Love It!

I see your point about the genesis type cover but if thats the second digest, then whats image number 2 ’cause that somewhat resembles the digest issue 1 art style.

The Sand-Blasters. Haven’t seen them since issue 217 and 218. How did they capture Mighty and Ray?

if you remember the last time the Sand Blasters were seen, Matilda (99% sore she is Mighty’s sister) was a member of the local D.E.L, that is the only explination i cxan think of.

i agree, but still looks really good. I’m pretty sure sally is the last character to get a new design from when the comic started. her new design still looks really good and I like the fact that (im assuming) if you get changes when your robotasized, it can actually change your appearence as her new cloths look like her weaponized form in the comics currently.
Wait… why don’t I see traces of Sally and the rest in the megaman/Sonic crossover pictures?
