A new instalment from a series we will never play in the west.
It looks like Sega is continuing one of his relatively recent and japan-only RPG sagas, 7th Dragon. Although it has not been officially announced, Sega Japan has registered a trademark and logo for 7th Dragon 2020 3rd Encount in Japan.
For those who don’t know, 7th Dragon is a never released in the west RPG first launched for Nintendo DS. It got a major overhaul as it’s sequel, 7th Dragon 2020 changed its original fantasy setting to a futuristic one, and not only that, it also jumped between platforms: it was released for PSP instead of Nintendo DS.
The third one seems to pick up where the PSP one left off, but no details on platform were released. Seen that platform jumping in the past, we can’t say it it’s coming for PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS or even to PSP.
We will keep you informed.
