Comic Book Shops Get First Crack
Observant Sonic fans should begin seeing UDON Entertainment’s English translation of the Pix’n Love History of Sonic the Hedgehog in some comic book stores today. UDON themselves made it official on Sunday.
That means if you didn’t pre-order the hardcover, you may have better luck than those who did. It appears other outlets, including online ones like Amazon, will wait until later in the month to release their copies to buyers.
But fear not: If you’re still waiting–or your local comic book retailer isn’t carrying the book yet–you can read some more preview pages from the hardcover. Take a look at pages twelve through nineteen in our gallery below.

Aw, what the hell. Had this pre-ordered since July.
I’ve got it pre-ordered on Amazon already, and for only 30 bucks, too. If they’re selling for MSRP (like 50 bucks or whatever) in stores, I won’t be too broken hearted over it.
This book is just great. I have teh original french version and it is really a great work.
At least something done properly about this videogame character with the help of Sega.

Some really interesting facts there as well, I knew Sonic Team were using Sonic Jam to test work on Sonic Adventure but I had no idea Sonic World was actually a scrapped level for the game!
And was that robot octopus from Sonic all stars transformed really a scrapped enemy from Sonic X-treme? Touche Sumo, I never thought they’ dig THAT deep into the franchise!
Love the alt. cover art we’re getting as well, hard to say which version I prefer.

Glad to see this is finally coming out. I already have it pre-ordered at Amazon and comic book stores typically sell books like this at MSRP, so if I have to wait a few weeks it’s not a big deal for me.

Yeah I pre-ordered my at amazon too, so I have to wait longer but from account I was only charge $30.00 so the longer wait, for me, is worth it.

I’m disappointed too, but I know that they must have their reasons (shipping delays, etc.). I’m just gonna wait until it does come, and the rest of you will, too, whether you like it or not.
