A New Record for Community Charity
The third Sonic Marathon for Child’s Play has concluded with a new record raised to benefit sick children in hospitals around the world.
This afternoon, a total of $3,250 was collected from more than 160 contributors, according to the Sonic Marathon website. That’s a new all-time record for fundraising in this community, and a new record for the effort itself, besting last year’s total of $2,565.
“Thank you to all who took part from Zack, Dan, Pillow, Veo, Ash & Jay,” read the Twitter feed of Respawn Point, the group behind the marathon.

How Dan managed to complete Sonic 06 in one complete playthrough, I will never know. He did it in about 10 and half hours.
