ASR Transformed Mostly Flat Week to Week

This morning, the latest UK games sales data was released from GFK Chart Track.  The data shows that for all the lack of marketing Sega and Platinum Games’s Anarchy Reigns received long-term, the relative sudden surge in the few days leading up to release may have helped significantly.

The two versions of Reigns combined to debut 16th on the multiplatform top 40.  To compare, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed debuted 27th when it was released in November, though arguably it had more competition at that time.  It’s interesting to note that GFK is counting Reigns as a budget title, and on those charts, ranked 2nd on each individual system.

ASR Transformed mostly held its ground week to week, coming in 13th on the multiplatform top 40 from 12th last week.  Sonic Generations is still rising on the same chart, moving up to 28th from 30th last week and now above Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, which fell seven places to 30th this week.
