Two Discs of Remixes Planned
One of Sonic CD‘s hallmark features is its magnificent original soundtrack, both on the US and international versions. So contributors at OCRemix have their work cut out for them in creating the newly announced Temporal Duality project, aiming to re-arrange those masterful tunes.
The project is official and will go forward, though there are a few Is to dot and Ts to cross, to speak. We spoke to Niyazi Sonmez, known as DiGi Valentine in the community, about the effort. He tells us one disc will tackle the original music from Japan, and the second takes on the US soundtrack. We’re told the album is tentatively set to release at the end of the year, though that could change.
We don’t yet know who will be involved in the project or how deep the music catalog will push in terms of variations for past, present, and future. We will keep you up to date on this ambitious fan project as developments warrant in the coming weeks and months.

Anything Sonic CD related always catch my attention and I usually always enjoy OCRemix remixes, so I’ll have to keep an eye out for any future updates on this project!
Awesome! OCRemix never ceases to amaze me. Can’t wait!
They should have called it Chronal Duality.
They better do the soundtrack justice, then. Which I’m not doubting, but they really gotta go all out for this project. Especially Quartz Quadrant JP/EU. Gawd, that piece was amazing.
@Skai Cyan: Either way, it sounds like a subtitle to a BlazBlue game.
@Skai Cyan
That or using the two same starting letters like all of CD’s zone names.
@Amuro
Ha ha, I guess it does. Now I can’t stop thinking of Sonic characters dressed as BlazBlue ones.
Glad to know both soundtracks are getting attention!
@Amuro If they made Quartz Quadrant (Present) Anymore hype, I think my head would explode.
