No Pit Stop Just Yet

More than two months after release, and after a Holiday session that looked very concerning for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, it appears the game has found its groove with retail.

The latest UK sales, considered official from GFK Chart Track, show the combined sales of ASR Transformed maintained its 14th place rank on the multiplatform top 40 last week.  If that can hold for another couple of weeks, additional sales help with the release of the Nintendo 3DS edition may improve that rank even further–and perhaps convince decision makers at Sega to move forward with more DLC for the game.

Elsehwere, Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games rose seven places from the previous charts to 27th place.  Sonic Generations, which had enjoyed a recent resurgence in the top 40, tanked twelve places in the top 40 to 38th place.  Football Manager only dropped one place week to week, to 8th place.
