Next Stop: The Oscars
It is the animation industry’s highest honor, and the Sonic infused Disney film Wreck-it Ralph took home five of them this weekend.
The film won the big prize at the 40th annual Annie Awards, Best Animated Feature, as well as four more Annies in best direction, writing, music and voice acting. In particular, King Candy VA Alan Tudyk won that last prize.
Now, Wreck-it Ralph hopes to make a big splash at the Oscars later this month, where the film is also competing in the Best Animated Feature category.

Alan Tudyk won for voice acting? That’s turbotastic! (But seriously, his voice acting was great.)
YES!
Yay!
That movie rocked! It was a great nostalgic trip…I felt like a kid at home again
Turbo-tastic!
Best Movie of the year! Yes, I said it. I honestly enjoyed this film more than The Avengers, The Hobbit, the Hunger Games and anything else that has “the” at the beginning.
It should have won at the last awards show (the name of which escapes me at the moment), instead it got robbed by Brave.
^ The Golden Globes. Yeah, WIR should’ve won that.
WHY HAVEN”T I STILL SEEN THIS MOVIE!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
This article forgot to mention that Pixar pulled itself from the Annie awards, so… they get your hopes up for the Oscar.
