Sonic’s Second Adventure Still Hanging Tough
The Major Nelson blog today released the latest sales and activity data for XBOX Live last week. Two Sega titles are again in the mix, though both saw losses from last week.
The Cave, from Ron Gilbert’s Double Fine Productions, dropped four places week to week to 7th from 3rd. Sonic Adventure 2, now with four months making its mark in the XBOX Live top 20, dropped only two places versus the previous week’s data. It ranked 13th, down from 11th.
As before, no other Sega titles charted in the XBOX Live top 20. We will see next week if any impact is made among the top 20 XBOX Live full game activity with Aliens: Colonial Marines hitting the market this week.

I just want to know what the next Sonic game is…
I’ve officially grown tired to hear anymore rumors.
Well, this could very well mean a Sonic Adv-
*Punched*
*Dusts himself off* AS I WAS SAYING, this could very well mean a Sonic Adv-
*slapped*
A Sonic Adv-
*punched again*
*takes breath* A SONIC ADVANCE 4! Sheesh…
@Ricardo – I know me to. Hopefully it’s gonna be announced soon!
@Gnat1 – Lol, this article doesn’t hold any clues on anything
Look on the bright side… If the Sonic game has been in creation since Generations, that’s gonna be a nice development time frame.
Sonic Adventure 2 HD seems to have sold pretty well on both Xbla and PSN since October last year. Good for Sonic Team. I wonder how it’s doing on PC.
More re-releases of old Sonic games please SEGA.
Why not Sonic Shuffle… err, maybe not?
Or maybe, just maybe, Sonic ’06 for PC.
It was originally announced for PC at E3 at the time anyway and, for me, that was one of the first times I was really involved in the community when I dug deep into the matter. It could be Sonic ’06 DX.
@Gnat1 So frickin hilarious… XDDD
@Hifihedgehog …..*Sigh*….. -___-
