Less Chibi, More Celebrating
You’ve seen the pint-sized portrayals of Sonic and Mega Man when the variant cover to Archie’s upcoming Sonic #250 was revealed last week. Now, it’s time for something a little more classy.
With it being the landmark 250th issue and the 20th anniversary of the Sonic comics, another special cover has been developed for the crossover. Comic Book Resources issued the preview on Friday, complementing a lengthy interview with Ian Flynn and Paul Kaminski reflecting on the past 20 years of panels, and the direction forward.
The cover is drawn by Patrick Spaziante and Ben Hunzeker.
The preview is watermarked, but not intrusively. Have a look at it below, and offer your thoughts in the comments.

I wish they could’ve done something special for the 250th issue. It doesn’t seem to be right to make Sonic have to share his anniversary issue with Mega Man.
Meh. Prefer the cover for the 125th issue far more.
I think they should do another cover.
This one isn’t as spectacular as #125 as Ryan said.
It really REALLY needs more details and colors.
There should be a…how long has it been since Megaman came out? Anyway, there should be a (insert number here) anniversary comic or something if this is supposed to be special.
