If it worked for Miku, why not for Kazuma?
Yakuza Fan website has gotten tired of waiting for SEGA to bring Yakuza 5 to the west, so they have started a Facebook petition in a similar way Sega themselves has done with Vocaloid’s Hatsune Miku: Project Diva games a few weeks ago.
So, if you want to see Yakuza 5 in the west, you can now comment, like and share this campaign on Facebook. If enough people show interest in the series, maybe SEGA would re-think their decision to not releasing Yakuza 5 in the west.

Most likely related to Sonic and allstars racing transformed. She was a popular candidate and if Sega hypes up the fans of Miku with project f coming to the west and then her coming in SAART might increase their profits. And I’m pretty sure there were some people who asked for Miku.

Sega should just release this already, they know it’s gonna sell! Look at the passion they’re putting into getting the game localized.
Jeez it was released less than 3 months ago and already a petition of localizaction. What isn’t there a petition for?
