Let the Metal Madness Commence

What was to be an epilogue to Sonic Underground has become truly roboticized in Sonic Universe #50.  The issue, the last in the Universe series before the Sonic x Mega Man crossover commences, instead centers on a new Metal Sonic story.

The issue opens with Metal and Shard at odds, as reviewed by Eggman before the beast is re-born and gets ready for round two.  Ian Flynn penned the script.  Patrick Spaziante designed a special cover.

That cover and the first five pages of SU #50 follow Archie’s synopsis, all courtesy of IGN.

Forged in Fire: Celebrate 50 issues of Sonic Universe and 20 years of Sonic the Hedgehog comics with this double-sized anniversary spectacular!
