Sega’s Delay Streak Continues

When is Sega West going to get it together?  Ever since last year’s cuts, the company has struggled to see nearly any of its major titles make its anticipated release date.  Anarchy Reigns, the Nintendo 3DS version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and Company of Heroes 2 have all been bitten by this bug, but yesterday’s news from Polygon, where a Sega representative confirmed the delay of Phantasy Star Online 2 for western audiences, may be the biggest victim yet.

PSO2 was originally slated for released in this quarter, which is winding down this week.  Now, the unnamed representative says there is no specific details on when the game will be out.

As with the three other delayed Sega games, the Sega blog has become eerily silent on upcoming details for PSO2 of late.

When we have information on if and when Sega plans to release Phantasy Star Online 2, we will pass those details along.
