Sayonara, M&S 2012 and Football Manager
GFK released earlier on its usual list of weekly top sellers in the UK. The latest multiplatform top 40 for the week ending March 30th saw two Sega stalwarts exit for the first time in quite a while.
Those two games, Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games and Football Manager 2013, have been bouncing around the top 40 for a while now. The other two Sega titles, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Aliens: Colonial Marines, survived an onslaught of several new releases, but both dropped considerably.
A:CM‘s drop was more precipitous, falling from 16th to 23rd week to week. That makes ASR Transformed the top Sega game in the UK top 40, only dropping three places from 18th to 21st.
The top seller in the UK last week was Bioshock Infinite.
