Allegedly Bought for a Buck

Earlier this week and before any of the major gaming media picked up on it, we showed you what was dubbed Pluto, a prototype console that appeared to fuse the technology of the Sega Saturn with Internet connectivity.  At the time, the person who posted photos of the system alleged only two such prototypes were made.

If that’s the case, consider this the discovery of the second system.  A reader of Destructoid recorded video of what he says is another Pluto prototype claimed to be bought at a flea market for just one dollar.  As seen in the video below, it works, and it does play games, though the disc tray lid appears busted.

According to the Destructoid article, the owner, known as kidvid666, is considering putting the system for sale on eBay.  We will let you know if that happens.
