JP Audiences to Get First Look at Lost World
Overnight, Sega of Japan announced their plans for Sonic’s 22nd birthday via the Web.
An event will be held at the Tokyo Joypolis on Sunday, June 23rd, the day Sonic first came into our living rooms, hearts, and minds. The event begins at 3:30 PM local time, and it appears attendees will get an extended peek at the next big Sonic game, Sonic Lost World, at the party. By that point, we may have already seen tons from the next Sonic given that E3 will have concluded about a week and a half prior.
Judging from the translation, it’s not one hundred percent clear, but it also appears at least possible members of Sonic Team will also be on hand for the celebration.
We will let you know any major developments stemming from this event–and what Sega has planned for domestic audiences as well. Thanks to barak for tipping us. If you have news to share, be sure to share it with us. Click Send Tips at the top of every page, or tip us on Twitter.
