Simon Shirley to Assume Admin Role

There has been a changing of the guard at one of the community’s most frequented radio streams.  On Tuesday, now former head of RadioSega.net, Gavin Storey, announced he is stepping down “effective immediately.”

“I’m fitting into a new job – my personal life is getting busier and busier with each passing day, and with that the time that I could potentially spend on RadioSEGA’s continued successes are getting fewer and fewer,” Storey said.

Owner duties have now been passed on to Simon Shirley, known in the community as Foreversonic.

Storey will continue producing Saturday Night Sega for the foreseeable future.

“I always said I’d finish at 200, and I’m still 30-odd shy of achieving that goal,” Storey explained.  “Will I still do a radio show once I get there? Who knows.”

Story assumed ownership of RadioSEGA in 2010.  The service’s roots can be traced back to 2006.
