Poll: Only 14% Would Boycott Sega Games if PSO2 Not Released in the West

Is That Still Too Much?

With it now almost a certainty that Western gamers will never be able to play Phantasy Star Online 2–what with Sega remaining near total silence on the matter for over a year now–the latest TSSZ @Issue poll asked if you would stop purchasing Sega games due to the move.

Out of more than 600 votes, only fourteen percent said they would pursue a boycott.  The overwhelming majority of those polled, 86 percent, voted No.

Still, for any business, a potential fourteen percent drop in customers isn’t anything to sneeze at.  Adding insult to injury was today’s announcement of Phantasy Star Nova for the Playstation Vita, another assumed Japan exclusive.  We will have more on that announcement shortly.

A new poll is now available to vote on, though more for our interests than anything.  The above poll results can be discussed below in the comments.
