A little over a month after they appeared on the Japanese eShop, and weeks after the game launched at retail, you can now finally download the Sonic Lost World demo for yourself. As of this writing, neither has been added to their respective “Demos” category, but if you browse to the game’s page on the eShop it will be available to download.

On the 3DS, the demo requires around 850 blocks of storage space, and on the Wii U, 447mb. Each demo can be played a maximum of ten times, which is a little more limited than most demos (the default seems to be 30). The 3DS demo covers Windy Hill’s tutorial as well as Act 1, while the Wii U demo only covers Windy Hill Act 1.

You can check out our Sonic Lost World Wii U review over here, but stay tuned, because the 3DS review is coming soon.
