The Nitty-Gritty of This Year’s Coverage
It’s that time of year again! New York Comic Con is just days away, and for the second year in a row, I’ll be spearheading our coverage of the event. Tristan will also be on hand to help cover everything, so with two of us at the helm, we’re planning on kicking things up a notch or two. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect.
As you’d imagine, we’ll keep things focused on the big comics and video games. Nintendo won’t have a booth this year, so there may not be as much game coverage as years past, but fear not; we’ll still go hands-on with as much as we possibly can. Additionally, we’re making an extra effort to go Beyond Blue this year, so expect a couple of unique interviews with some of the awesome writers and artists that make this massive gathering possible. You can also look forward to live breakdowns of select panels as they happen.
Of course, we’ll have a heavy social media presence throughout the event. As with last year, our more polished thoughts and coverage will be posted here on the main site, but you can follow us on Twitter for more rapid-fire updates. I’ll be using the hashtag #TSSZatNYCC for my posts, so if you want to get in on the action, you should use the tag as well. We also want to know what you’re looking forward to at the show, so if there’s something you want us to cover, let us know on Twitter or in the comments below and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Our coverage of NYCC 2014 kicks off with a live rundown of the Archie Action Hour at 1PM EST on Thursday. Get excited.
