I don’t know about you, but I sure do love a good speedrun, and whenever I stumble upon a channel that specializes in this sort of thing, I can’t help but share it. YouTuber Tee-N-Tee has performed a number of speedruns over the years, mostly focusing on the original Sonic trilogy. Their channel primarily features speed runs of individual zones, but there are some game-wide runs available to watch as well.
Included below are two of those long-form speedruns, one for Sonic 1 and one for Sonic 2. These great runs are made even more impressive by the fact that they’re not tool-assisted; both runs, in their entirety, are performed by hand. As an added bonus, we’ve also included an interesting “Time Ring Attack” wherein Tee-N-Tee grabs each and every ring in Green Hill Zone Act 1 as fast as possible.
You can see more of Tee-N-Tee‘s speedruns on their YouTube channel and at various other video outlets across the internet. As always, we’re on the lookout for fan works to spotlight, so if you have a project you want the world to know about, send us a link at firstname.lastname@example.org!
