SEGA Classics Collection Now Available on Amazon Fire TV

by December 13, 2018

If you own any of Amazon’s Fire TV products, you now have access to a plethora of Genesis titles. SEGA Classics is a brand-new collection of well-known games from SEGA’s beloved console, with twenty-five games from the Genesis library along for the ride. The collection is more robust than others of its ilk, featuring classics like Altered Beast and Golden Axe alongside deeper cuts like Gain Ground and Decap Attack. As you might expect, the blue blur is well-represented with no less than a fifth of the titles stemming from the Sonic franchise; early reports indicate that the enhanced remasters of Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic CD are present. Each game in the collection supports both traditional Bluetooth controllers and the Fire TV remote, so no extra peripherals are required for play. Additional upgrades include multiple save slots for each title, as well as a rewind feature that steps the game backward by several seconds.

SEGA Classics is available on Fire TV devices now for $14.99, and the bundle includes the following games:

  • Alien Storm
