Sega Clarifies PSO2 Status in Europe: “There’s nothing to confirm right now”

There’s always a catch.

Shortly after Sega and Microsoft shocked the community with news that Phantasy Star Online 2 would come across the Pacific to Western territories, the official Sega Twitter account released a series of statements noting that, for the moment, that Spring 2020 launch only applies to North America.

We’ll try to get some clarification on this and see when–and if–players in Europe will be able to enjoy PSO2.

NA needs 4 languages, while EU can require up to 14. Let them build it out to justify the move first.

And no, they can’t “just” put it in English. Do you have any idea how bent outta shape UK can get if you try to release a game that spells colour “color”.

Honestly, we consume so much American media it doesn’t bother us in the slightest. I need PSO2 and I need it now!
