Sega Europe has confirmed they will no longer publish a title they announced early last year.
That game was to be a narrative-driven title from Interior Night, a new studio from Caroline Marchal, formerly of Quantic Dream. That studio has produced such games as Detroit: Become Human and Beyond: Two Souls.
In an interview with Gamasutra, Sega Europe content head Bobby Wertheim indicated the split was amicable:
In the end, not every project is going to go as well as I personally would like. So it’s the end of the relationship but we’re just working hard to find the next big thing.
Marchal told the publication a new partnership for the title still shrouded in mystery will be announced soon.
