Apple’s much touted launch of Apple Arcade is now here, with the service beginning its rollout along with iOS 13 today.

Sonic Racing will be available exclusively on iOS devices through Apple Arcade. Even though it’s missing Team from its name, several pieces of new video that made it to social media overnight suggest that, along with modified tracks, its console counterpart’s look and feel largely remains:

This is what Sonic Racing on iPhone (Apple Arcade) is like. It still has the Team aspect and it feels a lot faster than the console version (I’m still getting used to the controls lol) pic.twitter.com/s6GcosfFVm

We understand there is support for horizontal screen play and limited controller support, but players must specify through the game’s settings. It also appears regular special events will take place. Sega has mostly kept quiet on Sonic Racing for Apple Arcade, so for many in the community, its launch will be the first time a good look is given to the title. We’ll bring you more as we learn about it.
