Original Sonic VA Jaleel White Appears at Rhode Island Comic Con

If you happened to be in Providence this past weekend, you had a chance to meet the man who first gave Sonic his voice to a wide audience.

Jaleel White, who voiced Sonic in the original Saturday morning and syndicated TV series, was a celebrity guest at the Rhode Island Comic Con. We received multiple reports of White taking photos with fans, and signing autographs. The event took place over three days just this past weekend.

He wasn’t the only familiar voice to appear at the show, either. Charles Martinet, the voice of Mario, was also in attendance.
