COLUMNIST / COMMENTATOR
TSSZ is looking for an ambitious and articulate individual well immersed in Sonic, Sega, and video game industry topics and trends to join our team as a columnist / commentator.
The individual will contribute opinion pieces and generally act independent of the main editorial structure, with minimal oversight. In keeping with TSSZ’s core belief of Beyond Blue, he or she will have broad topic jurisdiction. Published pieces should foster critical thought and discussion, but can ultimately make a clear, concise point.
The ideal candidate will write pieces on a monthly basis, as well as offer opinion in the spoken word. He or she must have a thorough understanding of the Sonic, Sega, and video game community and culture, and possess impeccable writing skills. Excellent research skills are essential. Previous column or editorial writing is preferred. The candidate must be proficient with WordPress or other blogging interfaces. Thick skin may also be useful.
